|Description: A secluded little site between Amor Lake and Surprise Lake, along the portage trail. One of the more popular sites for those paddling the Sayward Forest Canoe Route. This site has recently been upgraded. It has great views looking down both lakes. There is a real feeling of solitude on Surprise Lake. Look for the sundew plants on the edge of Amor Lake.
Things to Do:
Boating - In Amor or Surprise Lake
Fishing - Good fishing for cutthroat and rainbow trout. A few Dolly Varden and many small Kokanee are also present.
